Main => Game Discussion => U4GM Guide to Rogue Mobility vs Lesser Evils in D4
Trying to take down Diablo 4's Lesser Evils on a Rogue feels like turning up to a fistfight with a pocketknife. You're quick, you hit hard, and you don't get to make many mistakes. If you're still gearing up or patching holes in your build, having some extra Diablo 4 gold for upgrades can take the edge off the grind, but it won't save you if you play like a tank. You're not meant to stand there and trade. The whole fight is about staying alive long enough to find your moments. Mobility isn't optional You'll notice it fast: the arena is basically a trap. Floor corruption spreads, sweeping cleaves eat up huge arcs, and half the time the "safe" space disappears right when you commit to an attack. So you have to move before you "need" to move. Dash early. Step out wide. Cut behind the boss when you see the wind-up. A lot of Rogues die because they dodge at the last second and get clipped anyway. Don't do that. Treat your movement skills like your armour. If you aren't repositioning every few seconds, you're already late. Read the tells, not the health bar The bosses don't really trick you, but they do punish tunnel vision. Big attacks always have a tell: a shoulder dip, a pause, a glow, that little half-beat where everything goes quiet. You've got to train yourself to watch for that instead of staring at your damage numbers. One habit that helped me was hovering near the outer edge of danger zones. Not miles away, just outside the red. That way when the slam lands, you're already safe and you can snap right back in. If you sprint across the arena every time, you'll spend the whole fight running and doing zero damage. Do your damage in short, ugly bursts Rogue damage in these fights is all about timing, not bravery. The best window is right after the boss commits to something heavy and misses you. That's when you go in and unload, then leave before the follow-up. Keep it simple: 1) bait the attack, 2) dodge clean, 3) dump your burst, 4) reset your position. Don't get greedy on step three. You'll feel tempted to squeeze in "one more hit" and that's usually the hit that gets you killed. Save your cooldowns for those guaranteed openings, not for random face-time. Winning is mostly discipline Once you've died a few times, the rhythm starts to click. You stop panicking when the floor lights up. You stop chasing damage through hazards. You start playing like a thief: in, out, gone. That's when Rogue suddenly feels unfair—in a good way. You're not surviving because you're tough; you're surviving because you're hard to pin down, and you're choosing your fights inside the fight. If you're trying to smooth out your setup between attempts, spending resources wisely (or deciding to buy Diablo 4 gold for faster gearing) can help, but the real difference comes from keeping your head and sticking to the pattern.U4GM's got the kind of Diablo 4 help you actually use—especially if you're a Rogue dancing around Lesser Evils. Learn the tells, keep dashing, punish the tiny openings, and don't get stuck in those nasty AoE zones. If you're short on upgrade cash, https://www.u4gm.com/diablo-4/gold can keep your build sharp so you hit harder and move cleaner. Stay quick, stay alive, and make every boss whiff.
